    Larry Tuileta, a multi-sport star from Punahou School in Honolulu (Hi.), has signed with USC and will compete as a walk-on with the Trojans' men's volleyball and football teams as a freshman in the 2014-15 season.

    The 6-3 , 205-pound Tuileta is a 3-time All-State first team performer in both sports, as an outside hitter in volleyball and a quarterback in football.

    In volleyball, he led Punahou to the 2013 state championship as a junior while earning All-American and All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu honors. The 2014 Punahou team won the ILH title and its third straight state championship. As a sophomore in 2012, he was the ILH Player of the Year and he helped Punahou to the state crown.

    He also starred for many years at the USA Volleyball Boys Junior National Championships while playing for the Ka Ulukoa club team. He led his team to the Club Gold Division titles in 2008 (12s) and 2009 (13s) and the Open Gold Division titles in 2010 (14s), 2011 (15s), 2012 (16s) and 2013 (17s), winning All-Tournament MVP honors in 2011, 2012 and 2013. He was a member of the 2012 USA Volleyball Boys Youth National Training Team. He also won the 2010 USA Volleyball SoCal Open Boys U14 Beach tourney.

    In football, he quarterbacked Punahou to an 11-0 record and the 2013 state championship as a senior while completing 155-of-263 passes (58.9%) for 2,647 yards with 28 touchdowns and just 5 interceptions. In 2013, he was the Gatorade Hawaii Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and he was named the Honolulu Star-Advertiser State Offensive Player of the Year. As a junior in 2012, hit 156-of-246 passes (63.4%) for 2,588 yards with 28 TDs and only 1 interception.

    He also has been involved in numerous charitable activities, including volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, area food banks and homeless shelters and serving as a youth volleyball coach.
