    March 7, 2011

Senior opposite hitter Murphy Troy was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week (March 7).

In the second match, he had a team-high 18 kills (hitting .438) and added 8 digs and 3 blocks. His ace in the second set was the 125th of his career, a new USC rally scoring era career record.

He has helped the Trojans to a 12-1 overall and MPSF record, their best overall start since 2000 and best league start since 1994.
