    The No. 10-ranked USC men's volleyball team (2-5 overall, 2-5 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), looking to snap a 4-match losing skid, returns home to play 3 MPSF matches in a 5-day span in the Galen Center against a trio of teams that hold winning series margins over the Trojans: No. 11 Cal Baptist (6-5, 3-3), the MPSF's newest member, on Thursday (Feb. 14) at 7 p.m., then No. 1 BYU (8-2, 7-1) on Saturday (Feb. 16) at 7 p.m., followed by No. 7 UCLA (8-7, 4-5) on Monday (Feb. 18) at 8 p.m. in a match televised live on Pac-12 Networks.

    Despite a match-high 26-kill outing by Tony Ciarelli, the No. 5 USC men's volleyball team lost a 5-set heartbreaker at No. 1 BYU, 25-22, 26-28, 25-15, 19-25, 15-13, in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match on Saturday (Jan. 21) in Provo in front of 4,261 fans.
