    Trojans Lose to Cal State Northridge

    NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -The No. 11 USC men's volleyball team lost to Cal State Northridge, 15-9, 6-15, 15-6, 11-15, 14-16, on Tuesday night at the Matadome in a nonconference match. Senior middle blocker Szilard Kovacs had a team-high 22 kills for USC, while freshman outside hitters Craig Dennis, Trevor Julian and Eli Fairfield had 16, 14 and 13 kills, respectively. Sophomore setter Donald Suxho had 63 assists. USC hit .199 as a team compared to Northridge's .207. The Trojans didn't hit well in the first two games they lost -- .000 in game two and .026 in game four. In the rally-point game five, USC hit .278, but Northridge was up at .381.
