    USC Men's Volleyball Loses 3 Matches At SAC Tourney

    The USC men's volleyball team lost all 3 of its matches in the SAC Tournament this weekend at UCLA.

    The Trojans fell in 4 sets to host UCLA, 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-17, on Friday (Nov. 16). Troy then was swept on Saturday (Nov. 17) by both UC Santa Barbara, 25-20, 25-18, 25-22, and Cal State Northridge, 25-22, 25-17, 25-13.

    In other action in the tourney, the Bruins beat Cal State Northridge, 3-2, and UCSB, 3-0, while the Cauchos beat CSUN, 3-2.

    The SAC Tournament concludes USC's 2012 fall competition. Last month, the Trojans won 3 of its 5 matches in the 9-team pre-season USC Fall Tournament, beating Cal Baptist, Grand Canyon and Pacific but falling to UCLA and UC Irvine.

    USC begins its 2013 regular season with home matches against British Columbia-Okanagan on Jan. 3 and Alberta on Jan. 4 in the Galen Center.
