Although Jamie Morrison is in his first year as an assistant men's volleyball coach, he's no stranger to the USC volleyball scene.
He spent the 2004 fall season as a volunteer assistant with the Women of Troy team that advanced to the NCAA Final Four.
Morrison came to USC from UC Santa Barbara, where he spent 2 seasons as a volunteer assistant with the Gaucho women (2002-03) and men (2003-04).
As an undergraduate at UCSB, he played on the school's club volleyball team and also worked at various Gaucho volleyball camps. He also interned in the San Francisco 49ers public relations department.
He earned his bachelor's degree in business economics from UC Santa Barbara in 2002, with an emphasis in accounting and a minor in sports management.
He will being work on his MBA at USC.
He prepped at Dana Hills High in Dana Point (Calif.), where he played volleyball and basketball.
He is single.
