    USC Men's Volleyball Loses to Pepperdine in Five Games

    LOS ANGELES - The University of Southern California men's volleyball team lost a five-game match to the Pepperdine Waves Friday night at North Gym before 265 fans.

    The Trojans (9-8, 6-6 MPSF) lost by scores of 16-14, 12-15, 11-15, 15-5 and 15-13.

    USC was led by Gabe Garner, who notched a career-high 41 kills. For the match, the Trojans hit .311, compared to Pepperdine's .358.

    Leading the way for Pepperdine was George Roumain, who had 29 kills to go along with a .511 hitting percentage.
