Trojans Finish Seventh At UCSB Invitational

SANTA BARBARA, CA -- The USC men's volleyball team opened the season with a seventh place finish at the UC Santa Barbara Collegiate Invitational.

In the seventh place match Saturday afternoon, USC faced UC Irvine in a best of three games. The Trojans swept the Anteaters 15-11, 15-8.

BYU won the tournament's championship by defeating the host UCSB 15-5, 15-5, 15-10 and UCLA claimed third by beating Calgary 11-15, 15-3, 15-10, 13-15, 15-9.
