    The USC men's tennis team picked up five singles victories along with a pair of wins in doubles competition at the 2005 USD Torero Challenge on Sunday, Oct. 30. The Trojans faced host University of San Diego on the second day of play in the four-team tournament, which highlights individual results with no team scoring.

    Sophomore Kase Van't Hof continued his early-season success defeating M. Koristovic 6-3,6-3. Jeff Kazarian notched his second win for the tournament knocking off M.Ozurovich 6-2, 6-3,while classmate Whitt Livingston overcame S. Atri in three sets, 6-2, 1-6, 6-1. Garrett Snyder triumphed over J. Mouly 6-4, 6-4 and freshman Chong Wang defeated T. Liversage 6-4, 6-3. Underclassman Adam Loucks fell to O. Plotnik 7-5, 6-2.

    In doubles play the Trojans were triumphant in two of their three matches. Loucks and Snyder overcame Koristovic and Liversage 8-5 and Livingston and Wang defeated Ozurovich and Meschele 8-2. The Trojan pair of Van't Hof and Kazarian fell to the duo of Plotrik and Mouly 8-4. The Trojans continue play on Monday, Oct.31.
