    USC senior and 2011 NCAA singles champ Steve Johnson makes his U.S. Open debut on Wednesday (Aug. 31) with a first-round singles match against his Cincinnati Open doubles parter Alex Bogomolov Jr. Johnson and Bogomolov Jr. are lined up for action on Court 11 as the second match on the docket.     Johnson is the second Trojan with a set of NCAA team titles to take to the singles courts in the main draw in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. Robert Farah faced Frenchman Nicolas Mahut today and wound up in a five-set marathon that saw Mahut claim a 3-6, 6-7 (4), 6-2, 6-4, 6-0 comeback over Farah in the Colombian Trojan's first U.S. Open appearance.
