Men's Tennis Has Three Named to Pac-10 All-Academic Teams|

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- USC men's tennis players Drew Hoskins, Daniel Langre and Ruben Torres have been named to the 2004 Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention team, announced today by Commissioner Tom Hansen. To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
While playing at No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles, Langre maintained a 3.00 grade point average. On May 14 he graduated with a bachelor's degree in international relations. Torres, who played at No. 5 singles and No. 3 doubles, boasts a 3.05 grade point average in international relations. Torres completed his eligibility this season, but will graduate in 2005.
As the only returning member, Hoskins carried a 3.00 grade point average while competing at No. 6 singles and No. 2 doubles as a junior. His major is business administration.
