Katinka Hosszu of the women's swim team and Jaak Poldma of ther men's tennis team were named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (March 21) for the week of March 14-20.

Katinka Hosszu: Women's Swimming: Junior Katinka Hosszu became just the second Trojan woman to win three NCAA titles in the same year while senior as USC finished third overall on the final day of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships at Texas' Jamail Swim Center in Austin on Saturday (March 19). Hosszu, who earned 2011 NCAA Swimmer of the Meet honors, led the Trojans with victories in the 200y and 400y IM plus Saturday's win in the 200y fly, which equaled Trojan Kristine Quance's three-win total from 1994 and 1996.

Jaak Poldma: Men's Tennis: Senior Jaak Poldma extended his singles win streak out to 15 straight to hold him undefeated in dual-match singles play with two more road wins last week. Ranked #41, Poldma pulled out a tense 10-point tiebreaker in the third to get the Trojans at 5-2 win over Florida State with his 6-3, 6-7 (8), 1-0 (11-9) victory over #76 Clint Bowles. Two days later, Poldma was up against Florida's #39 Sekou Bangoura at the No. 2 position, and the senior rolled through his opponent for a straight-set win that put the Trojans in position for the 4-3 win over the Gators. Poldma's dominating win over Bangoura avenged a loss in his first match of the season, where Bangoura managed a three-set win over Poldma at the Land Rover Napa Valley tournament. Poldma is now 25-3 overall in singles with a 15-0 mark in dual matches. No. 3 USC improved to 14-2 overall as a team with the two road wins
