Robert Farah Set For Sherwood Singles Final|

THOUSAND OAKS, CALIF. - USC sophomore Robert Farah is all set to play in another tournament singles final, as the top seed in the 2007 Sherwood Collegiate Cup posted four consecutive straight-set wins to push him into the championship match. Farah will face Baylor's Lars Poershke on Monday in the final.
Farah also reached the final of the ITA All-American top open the Trojans' 2007-08 season, making Monday's appearance in the Sherwood singles final Farah's second title match of the season. That goes along with two fall doubles finals as well for the USC sophomore. Farah was placed as the No. 1 seed in the Sherwood singles bracket, and will go up against the No. 2 seed in Poerschke on Monday.
Farah has won his first four matches at the Sherwood in straight sets: 6-3, 6-2 over Stanford's Blake Muller; 6-0, 6-2 over Stanford's Gregory Hirschman; 6-3, 6-2 over Pepperdine's Omar Altmann; and a 6-2, 6-2 win over Baylor's Dominik Mueller in Sunday's semifinal. Also playing the Sherwood semis was Trojan Jason McNaughton, who also had a strong winning run in his opening stretch before falling 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 to Poershke.
