    THIS SEASON: Yannick Hanfmann enters his final season at USC.

    2013-14 SEASON: Hanfmann finished his junior season ranked No. 5 in the nation in ITA singles and No. 4 in doubles with Ray Sarmiento, scoring ITA All-American honors in both singles and doubles... Played at the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles spots in USC's run to the 2014 NCAA Championship... Went undefeated in singles during NCAA team action, earning a spot on the NCAA All-Tournament Team for No. 1 singles... Named Pac-12 Player of the Year and Pac-12 Doubles Team of the Year with Sarmiento... Also named Pac-12 Player of the Week twice (Feb. 4 and April 22)... In NCAA individual action, seeded No. 1 in doubles with Sarmiento and was a 9-16 seed in singles... Won three matches at the ITA National Team Indoors at the No. 2 singles spot... Went 24-6 overall in singles, going 18-4 in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 1 position, going 11-3... Also went 7-1 at the No. 2 position... Had the clinching singles victory in four matches, including the NCAA Semifinal win over Virginia... In doubles, went 15-4 overall, going 15-3 in dual matches, all with Sarmiento... In the fall, won ITA Southwest Regional Singles Championship... Entered the preseason ranked No. 18 in ITA singles and No. 34 in doubles with Eric Johnson.

    2012-13 SEASON: Hanfmann finished his sophomore season ranked No. 33 in the nation in ITA singles, No. 32 in doubles with Ray Sarmiento and also No. 69 in doubles with Eric Johnson... Earned ITA All-American honors in singles in reaching the NCAA Singles Round of 16... Had won six straight singles matches before falling to Andreas Mies of Auburn in the Round of 16... Also named to All-Pac-12 Second Team and earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention... Named Pac-12 Player of the Week on Feb. 19... Named to ITA National Team Indoors All-Tournament Team for No. 4 singles... Undefeated in singles from Feb. 1-April 13, winning 17 matches in a row... Went 31-7 overall in singles, going 21-1 in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 3 position, going 8-1... Also played at No. 2 (6-0), No. 4 (6-0) and No. 5 (1-0)... Won three matches at the ITA National Team Indoors... Had the clinching singles victory in four dual matches... In doubles, went 26-12 overall and 13-9 in dual matches... Was 15-9 overall and 13-8 in dual matches with Sarmiento... Was 9-0 overall with Johnson... Also paired with Emilio Gomez (0-1), Roberto Quiroz (2-1) and Michael Tang (0-1)... In the fall, won the Battle in the Bay doubles title and the ITA Southwest Regional doubles title with Johnson... Entered the preseason ranked No. 33 in singles.

    2011-12 SEASON: Hanfmann had the match-clinching singles wins for the Trojans in both the NCAA Team Championship and the ITA National Team Indoor Championship matches... Finished freshman season ranked No. 51 in the nation in ITA singles and No. 8 in doubles with partner Steve Johnson... Named to All-Pac-12 Second Team and to ITA National Team Indoor All-Tournament Team for No. 5 singles... Won the Sherwood Collegiate Doubles Championship with teammate Steve Johnson... Twice named Pac-12 Player of the Week (Feb. 20, April 16)... Played in NCAA Singles First Round... Went 35-10 overall in singles, going 22-5 in dual matches... Was 12-3 at the No. 5 position... Also played at No. 2 (3-0), No. 3 (2-0) and No. 4 (5-2)... In doubles, was 34-9 overall, going 22-7 in dual matches... Went 19-6 overall with Emilio Gomez with a 12-6 mark at the No. 3 position... Also went 10-2 overall with Steve Johnson, going 7-1 at No. 1... Also was 2-0 with Eric Johnson and 1-0 with Jordi Vives at No. 3... Entered the spring ranked No. 33 in the nation in singles... In the fall, won the SoCal Intercollegiate doubles championship with Gomez... Reached the ITA Southwest Regional semifinals in singles.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Hanfmann helped his club team TC Weinheim win its third national league... A singles semifinalist at the Germany Futures... Ranked No. 39 in the German men's rankings... Also ranked 900 in ATP singles... Also played with club teams TC Rüppart and KETV.

    PERSONAL: Yannick Hanfman was born Nov. 13, 1991 in Karlsruhe, Germany... Son of Stephen and Karin... Has one sister, Ann-Katrin... Enjoys playing soccer and basketball in his free time... Lists Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Rajon Rondo and Dirk Nowitzki as his biggest sports heroes... Hopes to one day play in a Grand Slam... Would like to travel to Australia... Majoring in international relations.
