    THIS SEASON: Roberto Quiroz enters his final season at USC.

    2013-14 SEASON: Quiroz finished his junior season ranked No. 51 in the nation in ITA singles... Selected the ITA Southwest Region Player to Watch... Named to All-Pac-12 First Team... Clinched USC's NCAA Quarterfinal win over Texas to help USC along to the 2014 NCAA Championship... Named to ITA National Indoors All-Tournament Team for No. 3 singles and for No. 2 doubles with Connor Farren... A two-time Pac-12 Player of the Week... Won 20 consecutive singles matches from Feb. 27 to a loss in the NCAA semifinal match on May 19... Went 32-6 overall in singles, going 24-3 in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 3 position, going 15-3 there... Also played at No. 1 (5-0), No. 2 (3-0) and No. 4 (1-0)... Clinched eight dual matches, including the April 18 win over UCLA to keep USC undefeated in Pac-12 play... In doubles, went 25-8 overall, including an 18-4 mark in dual matches... Went 10-3 overall with Farren... Also paired with Rob Bellamy (2-1), Nick Crystal (8-2), Michael Grant (1-1) and Ray Sarmiento (4-1)... In the fall, won the USTA Clay Court Singles Championship...     2012-13 SEASON: Quiroz finished his sophomore season ranked No. 42 in the nation in ITA singles, No. 55 in doubles with Emilio Gomez and also No. 76 with Max de Vroome... Reached the NCAA Singles Round of 32 where he fell to #31 Tsvetan Mihov of South Carolina... Named to All-Pac-12 Second Team... Named Pac-12 Player of the Week on March 26... Highest rank of the season was No. 23 on Feb. 12 and March 12... Led team in singles wins, going 38-11 overall and going 21-6 in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 3 position, going 12-4... Also played at No. 2 (2-0) and No. 4 (7-2)... Had the clinching singles victory in eight dual matches... In doubles, went 26-7 overall, going 19-4 in dual matches... Went 15-5 overall and 7-2 in dual matches with de Vroome... Was 8-1 overall and in dual matches with Gomez... Also paired with Michael Grant (1-0, 1-0) and Yannick Hanfmann (2-1)... In the fall, reached the ITA Southwest Regional singles semifinals and won the Clay Court Invitational championship... Entered the preseason ranked No. 85 in the nation in ITA singles and No. 12 in doubles with Ray Sarmiento.

    2011-12 SEASON: A spring addition to the USC roster, Quiroz finished his freshman season ranked No. 2 in the nation in ITA doubles with partner Steve Johnson... Held singles win streaks stretching 14 matches and 10 matches... An ITA All-American in doubles, also was named an ITA Collegiate All-Star... Named to NCAA All-Tournament Team for No. 1 doubles after going 5-0 with Johnson during the tournament... Reached NCAA Doubles Quarterfinals with Johnson... Named Pac-12 Player of the Week on Feb. 27... Went 26-4 overall in singles, going 23-3 in dual matches... Was 13-3 at the No. 6 position, alson playing at No. 3 (1-0), No. 4 (5-0) and No. 5 (4-0)... Was 33-4 overall in doubles, going 29-2 in dual matches... Took only one loss playing with Johnson, retiring from the NCAA Doubles Quarterfinal match... Finished 21-1 overall with Johnson, going 19-0 in dual matches, with an 18-0 mark at No. 1 and 1-0 at No. 2... Was 12-3 overall with cousin Emilio Gomez, going 10-2 in dual matches with a 5-2 mark at No. 3, 4-0 at No. 2 and 1-0 at No. 1.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Quiroz competed in the 2010 Junior French Open and U.S. Open... Held a #7 ITA Ranking... Won the 2011 Guayaquil Challenger doubles championships... Won a silver medal at the 2011 Pan American Games in doubles, having faced former Trojan Robert Farah in that final... Also competed in the 2011 Davis Cup with Ecuador against Canada and Mexico.

    PERSONAL: Roberto Quiroz was born Feb. 23, 1992... Son of Francisco and Pilar... Has three brothers, Francisco, Pablo and Diego... Cousin Emilio Gomez also played tennis at USC and was a member of the 2011 and 2012 NCAA championship teams... His brother Francisco played tennis at Lindenwood in Missouri, and uncle Martin Aguirre played at Iowa... Says practicing with Rafael Nadal in Roland Garros is his most thrilling sports moment... Enjoys playing and watching soccer and spending time with friends in his free time... Lists Rafael Nadal as his biggest sports hero... Would like to travel to Greece and the Bahamas... Would like to play professional tennis after graduation... Majoring in social sciences economics.
