HIGH SCHOOL: Quiroz competed in the 2010 Junior French Open and U.S. Open... Held a #7 ITA Ranking... Won the 2011 Guayaquil Challenger doubles championships... Won a silver medal at the 2011 Pan American Games in doubles, having faced former Trojan Robert Farah in that final... Also competed in the 2011 Davis Cup with Ecuador against Canada and Mexico.

PERSONAL: Roberto Quiroz was born Feb. 23, 1992... Son of Francisco and Pilar... Has three brothers, Francisco, Pablo and Diego... Cousin Emilio Gomez is also on the USC men's team... His brother Francisco played tennis at Lindenwood in Missouri, and uncle Martin Aguirre played at Iowa... Says practicing with Rafael Nadal in Roland Garros is his most thrilling sports moment...
