    THIS SEASON: Roberto Quiroz enters his second season at USC.

    2011-12 SEASON: A spring addition to the USC roster, Quiroz finished his freshman season ranked No. 2 in the nation in ITA doubles with partner Steve Johnson... Held singles win streaks stretching 14 matches and 10 matches... An ITA All-American in doubles, also was named an ITA Collegiate All-Star... Named to NCAA All-Tournament Team for No. 1 doubles after going 5-0 with Johnson during the tournament... Reached NCAA Doubles Quarterfinals with Johnson... Named Pac-12 Player of the Week on Feb. 27... Went 26-4 overall in singles, going 23-3 in dual matches... Was 13-3 at the No. 6 position, alson playing at No. 3 (1-0), No. 4 (5-0) and No. 5 (4-0)... Was 33-4 overall in doubles, going 29-2 in dual matches... Took only one loss playing with Johnson, retiring from the NCAA Doubles Quarterfinal match... Finished 21-1 overall with Johnson, going 19-0 in dual matches, with an 18-0 mark at No. 1 and 1-0 at No. 2... Was 12-3 overall with cousin Emilio Gomez, going 10-2 in dual matches with a 5-2 mark at No. 3, 4-0 at No. 2 and 1-0 at No. 1.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Quiroz competed in the 2010 Junior French Open and U.S. Open... Held a #7 ITA Ranking... Won the 2011 Guayaquil Challenger doubles championships... Won a silver medal at the 2011 Pan American Games in doubles, having faced former Trojan Robert Farah in that final... Also competed in the 2011 Davis Cup with Ecuador against Canada and Mexico.

    PERSONAL: Roberto Quiroz was born Feb. 23, 1992... Son of Francisco and Pilar... Has three brothers, Francisco, Pablo and Diego... Cousin Emilio Gomez is also on the USC men's team... His brother Francisco played tennis at Lindenwood in Missouri, and uncle Martin Aguirre played at Iowa... Says practicing with Rafael Nadal in Roland Garros is his most thrilling sports moment... Enjoys playing and watching soccer and spending time with friends in his free time... Lists Rafael Nadal as his biggest sports hero... Would like to travel to Greece and the Bahamas... Would like to play professional tennis after graduation... Has not decided on a major.
