    THIS SEASON: Jaak Poldma enters his senior season at USC ranked No. 94 in the nation in ITA singles and No. 51 in doubles with JT Sundling... In the fall, Poldma was ranked No. 65 in the nation in singles... Went 9-2 in fall singles, winning the Southern California Intercollegiate singles championship and reaching the ITA Southwest Regional quarterfinals... In fall doubles, won the Southern California Intercollegiate doubles championship with JT Sundling, and went 1-1with Peter Lucassen.

    2009-10 SEASON: Poldma finished his junior season ranked No. 89 in singles... Earned All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention... Went 22-9 overall in singles, including a 15-6 mark in dual match play... Played at the No. 2 (3-0), No. 3 (11-6) and No. 4 (1-0) positions... In doubles, went 19-12 overall and 14-7 in dual match play... Was 14-5 overall with Peter Lucassen... Also went 2-1 with Daniel Nguyen and 0-1 with Daniel Gliner, Jason McNaughton and JT Sundling... Named to 2010 Pac-10 All-Academic Second Team... Named Pac-10 Player of the Week on Feb. 16... Entered the spring ranked No. 116 in the nation in singles... During the fall, was ranked No. 49 in the ITA preseason singles rankings and No. 35 in doubles with Matt Kecki... Went 5-2 in fall singles, competing at the ITA All-American and the ITA Southwest Regional... Went 2-1 with Kecki in doubles in ITA All-American competition and 2-1 with Daniel Nguyen to reach the ITA Southwest Regionals quarterfinals.

    2008-09 SEASON: Poldma finished his sophomore season ranked No. 82 in singles...Named to the All-Pac-10 Second Team... Went 17-14 overall in singles, including a 12-10 mark in dual match play... Played at the No. 1 (2-4), No. 2 (8-4) and No. 3 (2-2) singles positions... In doubles, went 23-8 overall and 20-7 in dual match play... Went 13-4 overall with Matt Kecki, going 12-4 in dual matches with a 2-1 mark at No. 2 and 10-3 mark at No. 3 including wins at the No. 3 position in the NCAA Team quarterfinals, semifinals and final... Selected to NCAA All-Tournament Team for No. 3 doubles with Kecki... Also went 7-2 with Andrew Kells at the No. 3 position... Received 2009 Pac-10 All-Academic Honorable Mention... During the fall, went 2-3 in singles and 2-1 in doubles... Competed at the UVA Invitational and played in the first round at the ITA All-American.

    2007-08 SEASON: Poldma was named to the All-Pac-10 Second Team... Ranked No. 56 in the final singles rankings... Finished second on the team in total singles wins, going 34-6 overall and 22-1 in dual match play... Played at the No. 2 (2-0), No. 3 (14-1) and No. 4 (4-0) positions... Reach ed the semifinals of the Pac-10 Singles Championships... Held 11-match and 14-match singles win streaks during the season... In doubles, went 20-12 overall and 15-8 in dual matches... Was 6-1 with Jack Levis, 0-1 with Jason McNaughton, 0-1 with Gary Sacks and 14-9 with Andrew Piotrowski... Was 13-7 in dual match play with Piotrowski, going 2-2 at No. 2 and 11-5 at No. 3... During the fall, went 6-3 in singles and 4-2 in doubles... Posted four straight singles wins and reached the ITA West Regional Round of 16... In doubles, went 4-1 with Jack Levis through the Napa Valley Classic and the ITA West Regionals.

    Poldma is a 2007 graduate of Audentese Erakool in Estonia... Held title of Best Junior of Estonia from 2005 to 2007... Ranked No. 14 in ITF... Competed in all four Grand Slam junior championships, Wimbledon, U.S. Open, French Open and Australian Open, and won at the Canadian Open... Was finalist of Salsamaggiore Open... Participated in the Davis Cup for one year.

    Jaak Poldma was born on May 16, 1988 in Estonia... Son of Jaak and Aita... Has three siblings, Laura, Kaire and Kriss... Lists his grandfather as his greatest sports hero and winning the Canadian Open as his greatest athletic accomplishment... Would like to become the president of Estonia in the future... Is majoring in political science.
