    TROJANS FIGHT ON FOR FOUR IN A ROW

    USC captured its fourth straight national championship on a big win by freshman Yannick Hanfmann.

    THIS SEASON: Ben Lankenau enters his senior season at USC.

    2010-11 SEASON: Lankenau did not compete in 2010-11.

    2009-10: Lankenau went 4-6 overall in singles, going 0-1 in dual match play... In doubles, went 0-1 with Joel Giger... During the fall, went 2-3 in singles, competing at the ITA Southwest Regionals and the Southern California Intercollegiates.


    2008-09: Lankenau saw limited play as a freshman, finishing 4-4 in singles and 2-1 in doubles... During the fall, went 3-2 in singles and 2-1 in doubles... Went 3-1 in singles at the UC Irvine Pre-Regional and competed in the ITA Regionals.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Lankenau won three singles nationals tournament and two doubles nationals... Also won Intermountain Sectional and has been ranked in the nation's top-20 in juniors... Has qualified in seven futures tournaments and has earned two ATP points.

    PERSONAL: Ben Lankenau was born Dec. 9, 1988 in Denver, Colo... Son of John and Nancy... Has one sister, Catherine... Lists Patrick Roy and Chauncey Billips as his biggest sports heroes because they are team leaders... Enjoys cars and other sports... His father John played football at Colorado... Has always wanted to go skydiving and would like to one day visit Spain... Majoring in business administration.
