    THIS SEASON: Eric Johnson enters his final season at USC.

    2013-14 SEASON: Johnson was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team at No. 5 singles after his undefeated singles play helped the Trojans claim the 2014 NCAA Championship... Went 5-0 in singles at the NCAA tourney, including the clinching win in the Round of 16 against Columbia... Earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention... Also earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention... Went 32-9 overall in singles, going 23-3 in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 5 slot, going 11-2 there... Also played at No. 2 (1-0), No. 3 (3-0, No. 4 (4-1) and No. 6 (4-0)... Clinched five dual match wins... In doubles, went 28-11 overall with a 21-6 mark in dual matches, all played with Max de Vroome... In the fall, won the ITA Southwest Regional Doubles Championship with de Vroome... Entered the preseason ranked No. 58 in the nation in ITA singles and No. 34 in doubles with Yannick Hanfmann.

    2012-13 SEASON: Johnson finished his sophomore season ranked No. 85 in the nation in ITA singles, No. 69 in doubles with teammate Yannick Hanfmann and also No. 79 with Emilio Gomez... Earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention... Named to ITA National Team Indoors All-Tournament Team for No. 6 singles, having won three matches... Won his final three matches in the NCAA Team Tournament... Went 35-7 overall in singles, going 21-4 in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 5 position, going 10-2... Also played at No. 2 (1-0), No. 3 (4-0), No. 4 (3-2) and No. 6 (3-0)... Highest singles rank of the season was No. 46 on Feb. 12... In doubles, went 29-7 overall, going 17-6 in dual matches... Went 8-4 overall and 5-2 in dual matches with Gomez... Was 9-0 overall with Hanfmann... Also paired with Max de Vroome (7-2, 7-2) and Michael Grant (5-1, 5-1)... In the fall, won the Battle in the Bay singles and doubles titles and the ITA Southwest Regional doubles title with Hanfmann... Also reached the ITA Southwest Regional semifinals in singles.

    2011-12 SEASON: Johnson went 19-9 overall and 8-2 in dual match singles as a freshman... Was 4-1 at the No. 5 position and also played at No. 3 (1-0) and No. 6 (3-1)... Was 10-8 in doubles, going 4-0 in dual matches... Played with six different teammates in doubles during the season... In the fall, won the SoCal Intercollegiates singles consolation title.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Johnson graduated from Bellarmine Prep in San Jose, Calif.... Won singles and doubles championships at the 2011 USTA Winter Supernationals... Won sectionals in Northern California.

    PERSONAL: Eric Johnson was born February 17, 1993 in San Jose, Calif.... Son of James and Allison... Has three siblings, Brent, Sarah and Rachel... Says witnessing USC win its third national championship was one of his most exciting sports moments... Enjoys video games and playing guitar in his free time and would one day like to skydive and visit Europe... Majoring in accounting... Hopes to play on the pro tour after graduation.
