Ishimatsu was the 2013 Pac-12 and NCAA platform champion. At the Pac-12s, she was also second on 1-meter and fourth on 3-meter, earning Women's Diver of the Meet honors. She followed that with wins on 1-meter and platform at the 2013 NCAA Zone E Championships. She dominated the platform with 729.85 combined prelim and final points, including a 99-point dive scored as a perfect 10, the first of her career.

Other USC women's divers competing include sophomores Sam Adams, Natalie Kalibat, Jacqui Suitt and Katherine Van Winkle. Adams was a two-time 2013 Pac-12 finalist, finishing seventh on platform and eighth on 3-meter, while Kalibat was 10th on platform and 11th on 1-meter.

In addition to Gear on the men's side, 14th-year head coach Hongping Li is bringing sophomore Adam Payne and sophomore transfer Collin Pollard.
