    USC Places 16 Trojans On 2015 CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

    The USC men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs placed 16 Trojans on the 2015 College Swimming Coaches Association of America’s Scholar All-America teams that were released on Wednesday (July 1).

    Seniors Andrea Kropp, Haley Ishimatsu and junior Sam Adams earned first team notice for the women while junior Jasmine Tosky, sophomores Maggie D’Innocenzo, Kelsey Kafka and Blair Carnes and freshman Alexa Cacao earned honorable mention honors. D’Innocenzo has transferred to Texas while Tosky is now retired from swimming.

    The men’s team placed six on the first team, including seniors Cary Wright and Jordan Gear as well as junior Morten Klarskov, sophomores Steven Stumph and Michael Domagala and freshman Pawel Furtek. Senior Chad Bobrosky and junior Jeff Swanston earned honorable mention honors.

     

     

    Ishimatsu was a 2015 Capital One Academic All-American first teamer this year while Gear was a second teamer. Both also earned Pac-12 All-Academic first team notice, as did Wright, Domagala and Carnes.
