    Ostler, Lendrum, Godbe Earn Pac-12 All-Academic First Team Notice

    Sophomore Michael Godbe became a first-time Pac-12 All-Academic first team pick.

    2012 Pac-12 Men's Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team Get Acrobat Reader

    Senior Jack Ostler and fellow co-captain junior Alex Lendrum repeated as Pac-12 All-Academic first teamers and were joined by sophomore Michael Godbe, the trio leading a group of 11 Trojan men who earned honors.

    Ostler, an economics major with a 3.57 GPA, earned his third consecutive Pac-12 All-Academic first team honor, the most a student-athlete can earn. Lendrum claimed his second in a row. The biological and biomedical sciences major with a 3.70 GPA also became a first-time All-American at the 2012 NCAA Championships, reaching the finals of the 200y back. Godbe rounded out USC's first-team threesome with a 3.77 GPA in political science.

    Sophomore Blake Cushing (3.45, political science) and senior Will Orlady (3.37, psychology) were tabbed as second-teamers. Orlady was also first team last year.

    Sophomores Chase Bloch, Nick Johnson, Jack Wagner and Sean Mulroy and juniors Pieter Kranenburg and Matt Voell also received Pac-12 honorable mention honors.
