    March 10, 2011

Led by All-American and five-time career Pac-10 title-winner Victoria Ishimatsu and All-American and two-time Pac-10 career champ Harrison Jones, USC takes a three-person contingent to the 2011 NCAA Zone E Diving Regionals, Thursday through Saturday (March 10-12), at the University of Minnesota.

There are 27 men competing from 10 schools and 53 women competing from 20 schools. Eight men will qualify for the men's NCAA Championships and six women for the women's NCAAs.

Ishimatsu, the 2010 and 2011 Pac-10 Championships Women's Diver of the Meet, is coming off wins in the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard at the 2011 Pac-10 Championships, defending both of her 2010 titles. She was also fourth on platform. At the 2011 U.S. Winter Nationals, Ishimatsu qualified on all three boards for the first time. She finished fifth on 1-meter springboard, reached the semifinals of 3-meter and competed in the quarterfinals of platform (her first nationals competition on platform). She was a two-time All-American in 2010.

Jones won his second consecutive Pac-10 title on 1-meter, was second on platform for the second year in a row and was third on 3-meter. At the 2011 U.S. Winter Nationals, Jones won a bronze on 1-meter springboard. He was an All-American in 2009 and an NCAA point-scorer in 2010.

Completing the trio of Trojan divers is Steven Starks, who is seeking his fourth consecutive trip to the NCAAs. Starks 2011 Pac-10s was highlighted by a fourth on platform, his second best effort at a conference meet.
