    Ishimatsu, Gear Ready For Zone E Diving

    USC senior Victoria Ishimatsu and freshman Jordan Gear will compete at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships, Thursday through Saturday (March 8-10), at the U.S. Air Force Academy's Cadet Natatorium in Fort Collins, Colo.

    Ishimatsu, a three-time All-American and three-year NCAA participant, is coming off a pair of springboard titles at the 2012 Pac-12 Championships, giving her seven conference crowns for her career. Gear was a Pac-12 finalist on platform, taking fourth.

    Thursday's action includes men's 3-meter prelims and women's 1-meter prelims at 11 a.m. with men's 3-meter finals at 12:45 p.m. and women's 1-meter finals at 1:45 p.m. On Friday, the schedule reverses with men's 1-meter and women's 3-meter. Women's platform prelims begin at 11 a.m. Saturday with finals at 12:30 p.m. Men's platform prelims are at 3:30 p.m. with finals at 5 p.m.

    There will be 10 schools competing on the men's side with Arizona, ASU, BYU, Cal, Denver, Hawaii, Stanford, USC, Utah, and Wyoming and 19 on the women's side with Arizona, ASU, Boise State, BYU, Cal, Colorado State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, San Diego State, Stanford, UCLA, UNLV, USC and Utah.
