    Trojans Win 4 Races To Open Two-Day Meet At Utah

    The Trojans won two relays as well as the 50y back and 50y breast in an abbreviated schedule in the first of two days of swimming at Utah on Friday (Jan. 20).

    USC opened with a win in the 400y medley relay as freshman Ralf Tribuntsov, senior Sergio Lujan Rivera, sophomore Michael Domagala and senior Cristian Quintero won in 3:11.10, Troy's second-fastest time in the event this season.

    Freshman Pawel Furtek followed with a second in the 1650y free with a time of 15:42.77.

    Junior Jeff Swanston won the 50y back in 23.22 while senior Sergio Lujan Rivera won the 50y breast in 25.66.

    The Trojans finished off the Friday session with a win in the 200y free relay as Quintero, Tribuntsov, Domagala and sophomore Reed Malone won in 1:21.22.

    Saturday's session starts at 11 a.m. in the schools' final dual meet racing of the season.
