    THIS SEASON: Sophomore Kevin Swenson provides depth for the Trojans in the sprint free and fly.

    2008: Swenson, as a 2008 freshman, competed in the freestyle and butterfly with the Trojans.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Swenson prepped at Westlake High in Austin, Texas, where he earned 2006 All-American honors in the 50y and 100y free and the 200y medley and 200y free relays ... He was a 2006 and 2007 All-State first team pick in the 50y free and 200y medley relay as well as in the 200y free relay in 2006. He also earned All-State second team notice in the 100y free in 2006 and the 200y and 400y free relays in 2007 ... Garnered the NISCA Top Sixteen Award in 2006 in the 50y and 100y free ... Was a 2006 (fifth) and 2007 (third) state finalist in the 50y free and helped Westlake to 2006 state and national titles in the 200y medley and 200y free relays ... He is a junior national qualifier in the 50m free ... Helped Longhorn Aquatics set a U.S. National Age Group record (15-18) in the 200m and 400m free relays en route to junior national titles... Tabbed a USA Swimming Scholastic and NISCA Academic All-American, was a member of National Honor Society and graduated Westlake with Distinguished Achievement.
