THIS SEASON: A 2003 sophomore, Mike Stoller is one of USC’s top sprint freestylers who looks to improve on his Pac-10 debut from last year.
2002: Stoller competed in three events at the 2002 Pac-10s as a freshman, taking 19th in the 50y free (20.53), 23rd in the 100y fly (50.23) and 29th in the 100y free (46.15). He also anchored USC’s fifth-place 200y free relay … Stoller’s 20.49 in the 50y free prelims at the Pac-10 meet was USC’s fastest swim of the year.
HIGH SCHOOL: Stoller prepped at Bremen (Ind.) High, where he was an All-American from his sophomore to senior year (1999-01) … He was a six-time All-State performer and won three state titles in swimming and also earned All-State honorable mention honors as a junior and senior as well as All-Conference and All-Area notice as a senior as a linebacker for Bremen … He was a member of National Honor Society and earned All-State Academic honors in football.
PERSONAL: He was born on Aug. 29, 1982 … He plans to major in business … He was born in South Bend, Ind.
