THIS SEASON: 2000-2001 sophomore Tyler Rodde will continue to add depth to the Trojans in the free and back events.
1999-2000: Rodde, as a 1999-2000 freshman, competed in the freestyle and backstroke for the Trojans.
HIGH SCHOOL: Rodde prepped at Vintage High in Napa, Calif. He was the school's director of activities as a senior. He also swam for the Napa Valley Swim Team and was given the Coaches Award several years.
PERSONAL: Rodde plans to major in business administration. He was born on Nov. 9, 1981. He enjoys skating and surfing and hiking near his home. He also snowboards and water skis. His older sister played water polo at Stanford for three years and his older brother is a junior on the Stanford men's swim team. His father, Scott, swam at Lafayette College in Easton, Penn.
