THIS SEASON: 2006 freshman Carlos Rivera will add depth to the Trojans in his first year at Troy.
HIGH SCHOOL: Rivera prepped at Valhalla High in El Cajon, Calif., where he was an All-American as a senior and Grossmont South League MVP in 2004 and 2005 ... He earned San Diego All-Academic first team honors in 2005 and was team captain and MVP in 2004 and 2005 ... He was a member of the principal's Honor Roll all four years in school.
PERSONAL: He was born on August 26, 1987.
