THIS SEASON: A 2009 senior, Ankur Poseria is a talented sprint fly and backstroke specialist who is a major dual-meet and Pac-10 contributor ... He owns USC's school record in the 100m fly (53.68, lcm) 68 and is also India's national record holder in the 100m fly.

2008: Poseria made his NCAA debut as a 2008 junior, finishing 35th in the 100y fly (48.09). He also competed on relays for the Trojans ... At the 2008 Pac-10 Championships, he finished 11th in the 100y fly (48.30), 12th in the 100y back (49.73) and was 29th in the 50y free (20.89) ... He inked his name in the school record books with a 53.68 in the 100m fly at the 2007 Husky Invite, erasing Dave Cadermartori's 1987 mark of 54.15, which had been the oldest individual USC men's record ... After the season, Poseria represented India at the 2008 Olympics, taking 57th (54.74) in the 100y fly.

2007: Poseria was an oft-used dual-meet performer as a 2007 sophomore transfer ... He raced in six events for his native India at the 2007 World Championships, including the 50m and 100m fly, 100m free, 400m medley and free relays and the 800m free relay ... He was a member of the 2006 Asian Games Team (representing India).
