THIS SEASON: Chris Partin, a 2009 sophomore, will continue to contribute in the middle distance and distance freestyle events for the Trojans.
2008: As a 2008 freshman, Partin raced in three events at the Pac-10 Championships, finishing 13th in the 1650y free (16:04.75), 20th in the 500y free (4:38.88) and 30th in the 200y free (1:45.62).
HIGH SCHOOL: Partin was a prep All-American in the 500y free at Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose, Calif. ... As a senior, he was sixth in the 500y free in the Central Coast Section and seventh in the 200y free ... He also was his school's top cross country runner ... He was an Academic All-American, was an AP Scholar and earned the Presidential Scholar Award.

PERSONAL: He was born on Sept. 9, 1989 ... He is an international relations major.
