    THIS SEASON: Ous Mellouli, from Tunisia, is a strong medley swimmer who should challenge to make the finals at the conference level and fight for a spot at NCAAs. A versatile swimmer, he could see action in all four strokes this year.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Mellouli attended Lycee du Rampart in Marseille, France, last year ... At the 2002 Short Course World Championships, he was 15th in the 400m IM (4:14.83), 17th in the 400m free (3:49.37) and 19th in the 1500m free (15:19.81) ... He competed for Tunisia at the 2000 Olympics in the 400m IM, taking 43rd.
