THIS SEASON: Sophomore Kevin Little is an improved distance swimmer who will challenge to be among the upper echelon of the Pac-10 in 2009.
2008: Little competed in three individual events as a freshman at the 2008 Pac-10 Championships and was USC's highest finisher in the 1650y free, taking 12th in 15:53.67 (USC's best time of the season). He was also 17th in the 500y free (4:33.52, then-personal best) and 18th in the 400y IM (4:03.22).
HIGH SCHOOL: Little prepped at Woodbridge High in Irvine, Calif., where he was a junior national qualifier in the 400m and 800m free ... He was a seven-time NISCA All-American and a three-time Scholastic All-American ... A five-time Sea View League champion, he was his team's swimmer of the year three times and earned Irvine World News and O.C. Varsity Athlete and Swimmer of the Week honors ... At the 2007 CIF Division I Championships, he was third in the 200y IM ... Earned his school's Sentinel award for academic achievement twice.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 23, 1989 ....Plans to major in print journalism.
