THIS SEASON: One of the top prep divers in the country in 2008, Harrison Jones joins a talented USC men's diving squad as a key dual-meet performer who will challenge for Pac-10 titles and All-American honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: Jones, who prepped at Klein (Texas) High, was a Texas state champion as a sophomore and a high school All-American (his last year competing as a prep athlete) ... Jones was named to the 2008 USA Diving Olympic Team Selection Camp, but was not named to the 2008 Olympic Diving team ... At the 2008 Olympic Diving Trials, he was eighth on both platform and 3-meter springboard ... At the 2008 Spring Senior Nationals, he was seventh on platform and fourth in 3-meter synchro ... Competed at the Junior Pan Am Games, finishing third on 1-meter and platform in the 16-18 year age group ... In the same age group at 2007 U.S. Junior Nationals, he won the 1-meter and platform titles and was fifth on 3-meter ... At the 2007 Senior Nationals, he was second on 1-meter, sixth on platform and 10th on 3-meter ... At the 2006 Senior Nationals, he was fifth on platform ... At the 2005 Senior Nationals, he was fourth on platform, sixth on 3-meter.
