THIS SEASON: Josh Joiner, a 2009 freshman, will compete for the Trojans in the back and fly.
HIGH SCHOOL: Joiner, who prepped at Los Alamitos High, was named his school's Swimmer of the Year as a senior ... At the 2008 USA Swim Sectionals in California, he was second in 200m fly. He was fourth in the 100y back and the 100y fly at 2008 CIF Southern Section Championships.
CLUB: Irvine Novaquatics.
