THIS SEASON: A 2008 sophomore, Drew Harris displayed solid development as a freshman and should be a valued freestyler for the Trojans.
2007: Harris raced in three events at the 2007 Pac-10 Championships, taking 16th in the 200y free (1:40.35), 18th in the 500y free (4:34.13) and 40th in the 50y free (22.01). The 50y and 500y free times were season best and his 200y free prelim swim (1:39.07) was also a season best.
HIGH SCHOOL: Harris attended Nevada Union High in Grass Valley, Calif., where he earned prep All-American status in 2004, 2005 and 2006, years he also earned All-Metro League honors as well ... Participated at the 2006 U.S. Spring Nationals.
CLUB: Penguin Swim Team.
PERSONAL: He was born on April 7, 1988 ... He plans to study political science ... He was on his school's Honor Roll each year in school.
