THIS SEASON: Spencer Di Dio, a 2013 senior, is a strong IM'er and butterfly specialist looking to make his first Pac-12 final and increase his contributions across the board.
2012: Di Dio, as a 2012 junior, posted USC's second-fastest time in the 400y IM (3:52.07). He raced in exhibition heats at the 2012 Pac-12s in the 200y and 400y IM and the 200y fly.
2011: As a 2011 sophomore Di Dio continued to be a valuable contributor for the Trojans. At the 2011 Pac-10 Championships, he won the consolation final in the 400y IM (3:52.55) and reached the consolation final of the 200y fly, taking 15th (1:51.35). He was also 18th in the 200y IM (1:48.40).
2010: Di Dio was a three-time 2010 Pac-10 Championships consolation finalist as a freshman, taking 15th in the 200y fly (1:50.36), 16th in the 400y IM (3:57.61) and 21st in the 200y IM (1:50.54).
HIGH SCHOOL: Di Dio, a four-time All-American in the 100y fly and a three-time All-American in the 200y IM from Carlsbad (Calif.) High, was the 2008 San Diego Union-Tribune Swimmer of the Year ... He won three San Diego CIF Division I titles in the 100y fly (he owns the SD CIF record in the event) and two in the 200y IM ... He helped his school to its sixth straight Division I title last year.
