USC Races to 194-52 Win Over UC Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Brad Francis, Harvey Beckwith and Bela Szabados each won two individual events to lead the USC men's swimming team to a convincing 194-52 win over UC Santa Barbara at the UCSB Campus Pool.

Francis won the 100 backstroke (50.12) and 100 butterfly (49.35); Beckwith captured the 200 breastroke (2:05.61) and 200 IM (1:55.27; and Szabadas took home first place in the 200 butterfly (1:48.1) and 500 freestyle (4:25.04).
