The USC Men picked up six more points and are tied for second after day two of the NCAAs. Only two Trojans remain: triple jumper Djeke Mambo and hurdler Ryan Wilson. USC is shooting for its eighth straight top 10 finish.

Field Finals--

Hammer: Senior Norbert Horvath became an All-American for the third time, finishing third with a season-best mark of 234-5 to pick up six points for the Trojan men.

Horvath: "I threw my season best. When I was a sophomore, I threw 242 and I had planned on one day throwing further. I was really trying to throw further, but it just didn't happen."

High Jump: Freshman Dawid Jaworski finished 15th with a height of 6-10 1/4.

Track Prelims-

100m: Junior Devon Ward finished seventh in heat two with a time of 10.52 and did not advance.

400m: Senior Andre Ammons finished fourth in heat three with a time of 46.34 and did not advance.

110m HH: Sophomore Ryan Wilson ran 13.72 (wind-aided) to place third in heat one and advance to Friday's semifinals of the high hurdles.

Looking ahead to Friday for the USC men-

110m HH semifinal: Ryan Wilson competes in the only event of the day for the USC men.
