    Nov. 13, 2013

Sean Crocker, an accomplished junior golfer with AJGA and other amateur titles to his credit, has signed a national letter of intent with USC men's golf, head coach Chris Zambri announced today.

"Sean is a fiery competitor," Zambri said, "and we look forward to having his passion for competing and winning here at USC. He has shown a knack for closing out and winning tournaments in his young career which we are excited to bring to our team."

Sean, originally from Zimbabwe, prepped at Westlake High in Westlake Village, Calif., where he cut his competitive teeth playing tournaments in the Ventura County Junior Golf Association. He has won numerous events over the course of his junior golf career including a recent AJGA event in Northern California in which he fired a 197 (66-66-65) to clear the field by 10 shots.

In addition to competing well against his peers, Sean has also proven himself against amateurs of all ages having played well in the California State Amateur the past two years and in the Southern California Match Play this past summer.
