Morris, Sahyoun Earn Pac-12 Academic Honors|

Sophomore Rachel Morris, who helped the USC women's golf team to a second-place finish at the 2012 NCAA Championships, was named a Pac-12 All-Academic first team selection while men's sophomore Ramsey Sahyoun was tabbed a second teamer on Thursday (June 7) as the conference announced its golf honorees.
Morris earned her first-team honor with a 3.78 in business administration. Morris had two top 20 finishes this year, including a tie for 18 at the 2012 NCAA Central Regional. She was joined on the women's team by senior Lisa McCloskey and sophomore Sophia Popov, who earned honorable mention honors. McCloskey was a NGCA All-American and All-Pac-12 first teamer while Popov earned NGCA All-American honorable mention honors.
Sahyoun collected his award thanks to a 3.67 GPA in communications. He had a pair of top 20 finishes on the season, tying for 17th at the Gifford Collegiate and tying for 20th at the Amer Ari at 4-under 212 (69-72-71). He also went 3-0 at the Del Walker Match Play and had two other top 25 marks.
