    No. 4 USC Tied For Third At U.S. Collegiate

    Sophomore Anthony Paolucci carded a par round to lead the No. 4 USC men's golf team Saturday (Oct. 20) as the Trojans finished the second round in third place at the U.S. Collegiate Championship at the Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta, Ga..

    The Trojans are 12-over 588 (289-299), tied for third with Oklahoma State, eight back of first-place UCLA (580) and six back of second-place and host Georgia Tech (582).

    Paolucci (74-72) moved into a tie for 15th with freshman teammate Yi Keun Chang (71-75) at 2-over 146. Paolucci was 3-over through 15 holes but finished his round with three straight birdies. Chang had four birdies during his roller coaster round.

    Senior Sam Smith is tied for 21st at 5-over 149 (71-76), junior Jeffrey Kang is tied for 28th at 7-over 149 (73-76) and junior Ramsey Sahyoun is tied for 56th at 9-over 153 (76-77).

    Action concludes Sunday.
