Birmingham, Ala. - The No. 8 USC men's golf team finished 11th at the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate after the final round was canceled on Wednesday due to heavy thunderstorms.

The Trojans shot 300 in round one and 287 in round two and finished at 19 over par (587). Clemson was first at 12 under (556).

Sophomore James Choi lead Troy, tying for 35th with a score of 146, including a 69 second round. Sophomore Nico Bollini tied for 40th (147), senior Chris Botsford tied for 42nd (148), senior David Oh tied for 46th (149) and freshman Taylor Wood tied for 51st (151).

Chris Nallen of Arizona was the overall leader at seven under par (135).

The Trojans are next in action at the Ping Intercollegiate in Tucson, Ariz., on Feb. 3, 2003.
