Birmingham, Ala. - The No. 8 USC men's golf team is 11th after Tuesday's first two rounds of the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate held at Old Overton Golf Course.

The Trojans shot 300 in round one and 287 in round two to sit at 19 over par (587). Clemson is in first at 12 under (556).

Sophomore James Choi leads Troy so far, tied for 35th with a score of 146, including a 69 second round. Sophomore Nico Bollini is tied for 40th (147), senior Chris Botsford is tied for 42nd (148), senior David Oh is tied for 46th (149) and freshman Taylor Wood is tied for 51st (151).

Chris Nallen of Arizona is the overall leader at seven under par (135).

The final round starts on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
