Stillwater, Okla. - The No. 8 USC men's golf team shot a final-round 314 on Tuesday to finish 65 over par and place 13th at the PING/Golfweek Preview held at Karsten Creek Golf Course.

The Trojans shot 929 over 54 holes and finished 49 strokes behind team champion Augusta State (880). Clemson was second (886), followed by Arizona (893) and Auburn (894).

Senior Chris Botsford and sophomore Nico Bollini led Troy as each shot 14 over at 230 to tie for 42nd. Emmett Turner (213) and Scott Jamieson (216)--both from Augusta State--finished one-two, while Ricky Barnes of Arizona and Matthew Rosenfeld of Texas tied for third (217) and Conner Robbins of Washington was fifth (218).

Also for USC, senior David Oh tied for 55th (236), junior Scott Oxandaboure tied for 59th (239) and sophomore Ben Hayes tied for 62nd (240).

The Trojans are next in action at the Jerry Pate Invitational held in Birmingham, Ala., on Oct. 14-15.
