Trojans Lead Inverness Invitational After Two Rounds|

Junior Joshua Wooding and senior Taylor Wood were first and second, respectively, after the first two rounds of the Inverness Intercollegiate Invitational to lead USC to first place in the 15-team field at Inverness Golf Club in Toledo, Ohio, on Monday (Sept. 19).
Wooding shot a 71 and 70 (141, 1-under) while Wood carded a 69 and 73 (142, par). Wood's two-under-69 in the first round was tied with three other golfers for low round of the day.
USC shot a combined 581, leading second-place Texas by 10 strokes with Coastal Carolina 11 back, Florida 12 back and host school Toledo 14 back.
Senior Bradley Shaw and freshman Tom Glissmeyer (in his Trojan debut) finished the first two round tieds for 24 at 150. Bradley posted a 73 and 77 while Glissmeyer had a 78 and 72. Junior Jordan Nasser was tied for 48th at 154 (76 and 78).
The invitational finishes Tuesday with one round.
