Dallas, Tex. - Sophomore Nico Bollini shot a third-round 68 on Tuesday to finish nine under and lead the USC men's golf team to fourth place at the Sooner Invitational held at Stonebriar Country Club.

The Trojans' final-round 283 was the best of the day to land them at 15-under (849), ten strokes behind team champion Texas Christian (839). New Mexico and Oklahoma tied for second at 19 under (845).

In addition to his third round 68, Bollini also shot 69 in round two to finish with a 54-hole career-best total of 207. He tied with David Schultz of TCU. John Kidwell of Oklahoma was the individual champ (205), while there was a four-way tie for second between Zach Doran of Ohio State, Michael Letzig of New Mexico and Adam Rubinson and Colby Beckstrom of TCU, all at 206.

Also for USC, senior David Oh finished 11th (210), senior Chris Botsford tied for 12th (212), sophomore Ben Hayes tied for 32nd (221) and junior Scott Oxandaboure tied for 37th (223).

The Trojans are next in action at the Carpet Capital Classic in Rock Face, GA, on Sept. 27-29.
