    Senior Steve Lim tied for 20th and sophomore Jeffrey Kang tied for 23rd to lead No. 3 USC on the final day of the 66th Annual Western Intercollegiate at the Pasatiempo G.C. in Santa Cruz, Calif., on Sunday (April 15).

    The Trojans, in their final regular season event, began and finished the day in fourth in the 14-team field. Troy combined for a final round 17-over 367 and wrapped up play at 39-over 1089 (358-364-367). Texas maintained its day one lead and won at 10-over 1060 with Stanford second (1064) and UCLA third (1067).

    Lim tied for 20th at 7-over 217 (75-70-72). Starting with a bogey on the third hole in a shotgun start, he used four birdies over a stretch of seven holes to get to 3-under. But he ran into trouble on 15 through 18, going 6-over on those four holes.

    Kang tied for 23rd at 9-over 219 (68-80-71), his final round tops for USC Sunday. He began play with a birdie on the 4th hole, the first of four on the day.

    Junior Martin Trainer tied for 30th at 11-over 221 (76-73-72) and had four birdies during his final round. Junior Sam Smith tied for 33rd at 12-over 222 (72-75-75) with two final-round birdies.

    Freshman Anthony Paolucci joined Smith in a tie for 33rd at 12-over 222 (68-73-81) while sophomore Ramsey Sahyoun tied for 45th at 15-over 225 (75-73-77).
