Tucson, Ariz. - The USC men's golf team shot 293 in round two but couldn't move up in the standings after two rounds of the National Invitational at the Tucson National Golf Course.

USC is in eighth place (592), 20 strokes behind team leader Arizona (572). New Mexico is second (580), followed by TCU and Texas (585) and Minnesota (586).

Freshman Taylor Wood continues to play well for Troy, as he shot a 71 to move into a tie for ninth at 144. Sophomore Nico Bollini is tied for 22nd after shooting a pair of 74s (148).

Arizona's Ricky Barnes and TCU's David Schultz are tied for the top spot at 138.

Also for the Trojans, junior Scott Oxandaboure is tied for 30th (150), senior David Oh is tied for 54th (154) and freshman Tyler Ley is tied for 68th (157).

The tournament concludes on Tuesday.
