    Smith Leads USC On Second Day Of Stanford Intercollegiate

    Senior Sam Smith fired a 2-under 68 while freshman Yi Keun Chang is 1-under for the event lead the USC men's golf team after two rounds of the 2013 U.S. Intercollegiate at the Stanford Intercollegiate on Friday (March 29).

    USC is in seventh at 7-over 567 (277-290). Host Stanford extended its lead and is now at 17-under 543 with TCU second (554), St. Mary's and San Francisco tied for third (559), Oregon fifth (565) and Iowa sixth (566).

    Chang leads USC, tied for 11th at 1-under 139 (68-71) while Smith moved up to a tie for 16th at even 140 (72-68). Smith had five birdies on the day.

    Junior Jeffrey Kang (66-78) and sophomore Anthony Paolucci (71-73) are tied for 49th at 2-over 144 while junior Ramsey Sahyoun is 93rd at 15-over 155 (76-79).

    Action concludes Saturday.
